Insurance 2024 (Canada)
This is for instructors that specifically need insurance coverage in Canada. Insurance does not include membership. If you need to renew your membership, please do so here.
Now covers Inline/Roller AND Skateboard!
Canadian insurance works a little bit differently than USA insurance. You can buy different coverages depending on how many students you plan to teach. Those students are covered no matter how many classes they take. Coverages are broken down by tiers:
1-50 participants
51-100 participants
101-200 participants
200+ participants
You may purchase additional coverage if you end up teaching more students than what you are covered for.
Following payment, you will receive an email in about 7 business days containing your Certificate of Insurance (COI). To request additional certificates, email members@skateia.org. Those can take at minimum a week to be completed by the insurance company.
