Debbie Merrill is a silver-medal level figure skater and has taught thousands for decades -- ice, inline, roller-skating, skate dancing, figure blading, and dance of all kinds.


She is the creator and featured dancer of Taste of Brazil dance company, with performances at the Hollywood Bowl, House of Blues, and the carnival in Rio de Janeiro.


Debbie has starred in many films and commercials, skating, dancing, and acting. Debbie appeared on The David Letterman Show, performing the skate samba on wheels, a dance which she is famous for. She also appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, skating across the country for Super Bowl week with "Guillermo" and ending with Chris Rock.


She has been featured skating in the movie L.A. Story. Steve Martin learned to skate with Debbie’s excellent instruction. He also endorsed her book the The Raw Truth To The Fountain Of Youth. He said , “Debbie Merrill is a great teacher and dancer. I would have been lost without her.”


Some of her celebrity clients are Melanie Griffith, Geena Davis, Downtown Julie Brown, Thelma Houston and many more. She has also taught skating for the film White Men Can't Jump and TV show NYPD Blue, teaching Kim Delaney and Chris Meloni how to skate. She was also featured in Rollerblade creator Scott Olson's great skate video.


Debbie has appeared in The Marriage of Figaro, on Broadway in New York City, as the roller-skating Fanchette, with Christopher Reeve, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Dana Ivey. She also was appointed by the director to choreograph the Mozart symphony scene in the play.


Debbie produced and starred in her own TV show on wheels, called Raw on the Roll: Getting America Healthy, which aired in over 50 cities, based on healthy eating, exercise, skating and preparing vegan/vegetarian meals with celebrity guest appearances.
